Welcome to my blog site! This site is about the transitioning from Sydney to Oslo. My name is Grace, my husband is Stein & our one year old daughter is Olivia.
I have started living it up Scandi style. That includes driving on the wrong side of the road in the wrong side of the car, eating dinner at 4pm, the sun setting at 930, and watching deer casually graze in my in-laws´yard….
After almost 2 weeks of shoes off before entering a house, eating dessert at 10pm, driving (on the wrong side of the road) amidst electric cars, overusing google translate, speaking Norwegian and apparently sounding Russian, taking a million photos of weird foods at “Coles” and awe ing at deer, badgers and hedgehogs (piggsvin) hiding- I must admit I have entered culture shock already!
After a couple of Facebook updates, I decided to express my culture shock & experiences through writing. This is for my family & friends who are interested in visiting Norway & for those like my grandparents who want to follow my adventures 💐

Hi Grace,
What a great idea. Enjoy your 6 month honeymoon with Oslo.
God bless you, Stein and Olivia as you settle in.
Russian? hmmm
Better than the Aussie nasal!
